Precision aluminum CNC machining services

Combining mill-turn technology with 5-axis simultaneous machining, we provide high-precision, short-lead-time aluminum alloy component solutions for the medical, aerospace, and industrial sectors.

Why choose our aluminum processing services?

Excellent Machinability

Aluminum alloys possess an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. we can reduce machining costs by more than 30% compared to steel, while maintaining a high-quality surface finish.

Single Setup Machining

Thanks to advanced turn-mill technology, we can complete complex rotational parts and milled features in a single setup, completely eliminating positional errors caused by secondary setups.

DFM expert support

It's not just automated software review. Our engineers will personally inspect your drawings and provide optimization suggestions regarding wall thickness, internal corner radii, and tool paths.

Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Tips for Aluminum Machining

Optimize your aluminum designs for CNC machining with these four essential DFM rules to reduce costs and improve quality:

  • Wall Thickness: Maintain at least 1.0mm to prevent vibration and part deformation.

  • Radii in Corners: Use internal radii instead of sharp 90° corners to optimize machining speed and tool life.

  • Thread Depth: Limit depth to 3x diameter (3D) to avoid tool breakage and unnecessary costs.

  • Hole Placement: Keep holes at least one diameter away from edges to prevent material bulging or cracking.

Aluminum CNC Machining FAQs

We offer expedited manufacturing services where rapid prototypes can be completed in as little as 3 to 5 business days. For bulk production, lead times typically range from 2 to 4 weeks depending on the design complexity and surface treatment requirements.

Yes. We provide professional Type III Hard-coat Anodizing specifically for 7075-T6 aluminum. This process enhances surface hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion protection, making it ideal for high-stress aerospace and industrial components.

The most effective ways to lower costs are:

  • Increasing internal corner radii to allow faster tool speeds.

  • Reducing the depth of threaded holes (staying within 3D).

  • Designing parts that can be machined in a single setup.

  • Using standard aluminum grades like 6061-T6 unless high strength is critical.

It depends on your application. Aluminum 6061 is the most versatile and cost-effective, offering good weldability and corrosion resistance. Aluminum 7075 is significantly stronger (comparable to some steels) and is preferred for high-stress aerospace or high-performance sporting goods, though it is more expensive.

Our standard machining tolerance is ±0.125mm. However, for critical features, we can achieve precision tolerances as tight as ±0.01mm to ±0.025mm using our high-speed CNC milling and turning centers.
